It seems sturdier than some of the bionicles and some of the pieces are hard to snap together, a child may need a bit of help putting it together. It comes with an instruction booklet thats not hard to follow. Putting it into a sphere takes some time, but just follow the directions in the little instruction booklet and you will get it.
