I bought this toy for my son who REALLY wanted a flip toy phone. I think I bought this for $13. The buttons don't push, it doesn't really do anything. After Christmas I found a toy flip phone for about $2 from Target that would have served the same purpose .

Merchsource 1624566 Transforming Radio Controlled Car Review

Merchsource 1624566 Transforming Radio Controlled Car
Average Reviews:

We had experienced the same problems the other two reviewers had -- poor instructions and inability to find a spot for the AA batteries. If you look at the car's "exhaust pipe" you will see a small screw with a small black piece that pivots. Move this piece to the side and you should be able to flip the exhaust pipe up and find the spot for the 3 AAs.
I can hear the kids playing with it now so I gave it a slightly better review. If for some reason they really enjoy it, I'll upgrade our rating.

Stratego-Milton Bradley Board Games Review

Stratego-Milton Bradley Board Games
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I used to play this game with my brother when we were 8-12. Its one of the few strategy games I could beat him at. Creative thinking can be rewarding or it can backfire! The key to the excitement of this game is that each player arranges their own "men" (soldiers, in varying ranks up to Field Marshal) their flag, their "spy"-the only piece that can conquer the opponents marshal, their "landmine" bombs, and miners (who can defuse opponents bombs). As you play you begin to see what arrangements are safest to protect your flag, and allow you to trick the opponent into stepping on your "landmines" while not trapping your own soldiers as you will need them to go out "into battle" as each is needed. The game is suspenseful, as in almost every move, you are engaging an unknown enemy. Will it be a lowly Corporal you conquer, or a General who captures your soldier? Or, even worse, a bomb that kills your soldier, and requires you to bring one of your Miners forth to defuse it? I recently bought this for my 11 y.o. niece (who is too good at chess for me) after one game she quickly caught on to the strategy essentials; now we have very close matches. I was surprised at how much my 6 year old nephew understood the strategy, and how eager he was to play the game.
We made up a modified version to play a shorter game, using a limited number of pieces (2 or 3 of each rank), and he is learning to play well. I highly recommend this game as one that children can play against adults and hold their own. Each game is different because of the variations caused by the placement of the soldiers. This is a "prettier" version than the one I played with as a kid. As long as the colorful stickers last, I assume it will be just as durable. This game is not for kids that get frustrated easily, because, as in chess, each player will lose many battles, and will need to sacrifice pieces to win the game. This game teaches strategic thinking, and like chess forces you to plan several moves ahead. Stratego is a very entertaining way to practice logic, memory and planning!

The game board is your battlefield. You have an army of men at your disposal and six bombs. Your mission is to capture your opponent's flag and protect your own. Using the majestic fortress screen as a shield, you and your opponent secretly place your men, bombs and flag on the game board. Once the armies are in place, advance your men. When you're one space away from an enemy, attack. You and your opponent declare ranks. The lower-ranking man is captured and placed out of play in the display tray. Move with caution and courage. The next piece you attack could be a bomb. And when attacked, it could "blast" your man off the board and out of play. The first to capture the enemy's flag is the winner! For 2 players. Contents includes: game board, fortress screen, 40 piece red army, 40 piece blue army, display tray, label sheet and instructions.

Transformers Workman Lunch Box - Blue Review

Transformers Workman Lunch Box - Blue
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pros:
1) Very attractive graphics which my 5 year old loves.
Cons:
1) Too small. You can't even lay a sandwich flat in the bottom or include a water bottle.
2) Very flimsy tin construction.
3) Handles and clasps not riveted but held on by 3 bent metal prongs. We replace the handle everyday when it pulls out and expect the prongs to break soon. I think this is why it's considered a "choking hazard." If it was made in correct fashion these things wouldn't fall off.
4) Rust already showing within a month.
Update (November 19):
Both clasps broke off yesterday. Going in the trash.

Longrack - Transformers Cybertron Deluxe Review

Longrack - Transformers Cybertron Deluxe
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I first owned Longrack from the Japanese Beast Wars series where he was a giraffe. I mention this because when this figure was commissioned for the Cybertron series they used the same head design as the JBW figure; I really enjoy it when a nod is made to a TF predecessor (i.e. Energon Downshift & G1 Wheeljack)
The back-hoe to robot transformation of this figure is rather elementary. I usually make a case for the non-symmetrical TF designs, but this one went a little awry. I like that the scoop is his right arm & hand, but because of the cyber-key activated "steel punch" feature it's very heavy and unbalanced (on the JBW Longrack, the giraffe's neck & head are the right arm, although it's better balanced).
One feature I really liked is the fact that the arms in robot mode are off-set at approximately a 45° angle from the torso giving Longrack a "body-builder" like appearance, unfortunately you cannot see that in the provided picture.
For those inflicted with children: Here's a TF that will stand up to the standard mindless abuse rug rats subject their toys to & it's easy enough to transform that it won't give them an inferiority complex.
For the Collector: Longrack isn't the best mold out there, but because of the homage to the Japanese Beast Wars Longrack it is a must have for any collector.

Tough as nails and patient as a mountain, Longrack just wants to fulfill his mission to repair as much of the damage already done to Cybertron as possible. He doesn't like to fight, but that doesn't mean he's not good at it. If Runamuck and the other Decepticons are spoiling for a confrontation, Longrack is more than happy to introduce them to his powerful crushsteel punch.
Quick-change this amazing figure from vehicle to robot. Longrack figure changes from hybrid construction vehicle to robot and back. Features a key-activated crush-steel punch. Figure comes with key, planet map and instructions.

TRANSFORMERS - HAWKOVERLORD QUICK CHANGE TRANSFORMING SYSTEM Review

TRANSFORMERS - HAWKOVERLORD QUICK CHANGE TRANSFORMING SYSTEM
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I knew I was taking a gamble when I ordered this. On the bright side, the seller was very prompt shipping, and responsive. On the other hand, the images are more than a little misleading. The three images show figures in and out of packaging, but it's three different figures. I apparently purchased the center one(in blister pack it's a sort of space ship with avian features) which is indeed what this is labeled as. "Hawkoverlord" is written on the package, along with $6.99(marked out) and "Transformer". The packaging itself is also a little misleading as to it's contents, showing images of more articulate and complete toys. The back of the blister package is instructions for applying stickers, which have already been applied(poorly in my opinion). Once out of the package I judged the plastic quality to be rather low, and I fear that even minimal play will cause breakage. The "Quick Change" part I can confirm as false, as it involves carefully taking apart the toy, making certain not to break any of the small and rather fragile pegs, some of which suffer awkward moldflashing, and then reconstructing the figure into a different shape. I strongly believe that this is a knockoff from some other toyline, but as I have not yet identified the toyline this figure could possibly infringe on the copyright of, I can not confirm this.
I would like to stress that I do not feel in any way "ripped off". I purchased this noticing the signs ahead of time and did so intentionally, partially for the enjoyment of researching and figuring out just what it is I purchased. The seller was professional and I would buy from them again. However, even big name stores have been known to sell knockoff toys, and this I'm reasonably sure is one of those things, so please be aware of that. Because of this, while I endorse the seller, I can not promote this product.

What can I say? Mr. Potato Head was a hit with my grandson.....I love that Mr. PH now comes in different characters. It is a great toy that will always be around. The only problem I had was that the company who sent the toy used a delivery company which somehow lost Mr. PH and it didn't arrive on time.

I got this for one son for Christmas, and the Power Bots Sideswipe for the other. They both fight over this one. The "gun" on his arm makes a cool sound. I don't think the voice is very good - it says weird phrases and has crowds cheering, but the boys don't care. My two year old calls for it by saying "mumbadee," and the four year old will sleep with it. It was his favorite Christmas gift.

Transformers Movie 2 Fast Action Battlers - Missile Assault Grindor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First off let me say the fast action battler series is sweet!!This gives parents alot less of a headache of having to transform the toy for their kid every 5 minutes back and forth.I am acollector of transformers and though even the movie series is alot more detailed some can be a little difficult to transform back and forth. All that said GRINDOR is one of the better ones out their. He is very steady to stand and is very durable. His waist snaps back and forth to increase the use of his helicopter blade. Also in his front chest he can shoot a missle projectile a good distance.I would also like to say the movie version of GRINDOR is a 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!All in all I think the fast action battler series overall is a good series for collectors and the younger age fan group alike. The movie series is awesome sweet too,so please don't think I'm knocking it.I love transformers and all the different series and variations.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson who is into anything Transformer & Spiderman or Iron Man. Well this fit the bill all around. As with all Transformers, until he has done it once or twice he has a few difficulties, but after he has seen it and done it, he has a blast with them, and these two are no exception. For us this has been a GREAT BUY!

This Transformer isn't as difficult to put together as some we purchased at the same time, but pretty irritating because the lower part of the "arms" fall off all of the time. And after a few months, it won't go back into jeep mode all of the way, something just won't snap together. My son likes it, but I have to transform it for him, and it is hard to keep track of the arms that fall off. This toy is just okay.

Titanium Series Transformers 6 Inch Metal Cybertron Starscream Review

Titanium Series Transformers 6 Inch Metal Cybertron Starscream
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My husband has a few toys that have lasted through his childhood and that he's passed onto our boys. I can totally see this toy falling into that catagory for my sons. The die cast toys are a bit more expensive than their plastic counterparts for the same size, but totally worth it, from a mom's point of view. So many of my son's other Transformers have pieces that pop off from time to time, some more so than others, but most show the signs of day to day play by a four year old (I know below the recommended age group) Even those that weren't too bad at first, after a few months of play are starting to loosen and loose pieces more and more often. But this one is great. The only time we've experienced a "pop off" yet is when my son threw (he'll say he was flying) the toy down a flight of stairs. Granted, it landed on carpet, but only the legs popped off. In comparing, as I was reattaching them, to the other's my son has, these felt so much more firm and locked into place. In fact, the first time we transformed Starscream into vehicle mode I was afraid we were going to break it because the "safety pop off" hadn't happened yet. But then I realized that the quality is just that much better and parts don't need to fall off as easily. Like a good skier in nice bindings, these Titanium Die Cast series don't loose their pieces at the slightest bump or even the not so slightest pull. My only complaint is that Starscream's rubber hands and the nose of the plane seem like they may fall off in the future. So far they haven't, but I keep checking just the same. We've decided that all of our future Transformer purchases will be from this series. Our four year old is currently saving his money to replace the much, much cheaper Optimus and Megatron he currently owns with those from this series. I also like the size on this. 6 inches is just about perfect. My son has the huge Cybertron planet thing and it is just too big. Really cool, but too large for a young child to take along and play with much on a regular basis. This one is perfect, more in line with other action figures. I'm no collector and don't know anything about the asthetical differences in Transformer toy series, but as a mom, I say these are the ones to buy.

I purchased the Optimus Prime Fast Action Battler for my son. He has several of the other Fast Action Transformers and I was impressed with them. The Optimus Prime however is a terrible design. It does a poor job of transforming. The feet spring out in robot mode, and in the truck mode the feet springs are pushing against the truck hood which REFUSES to stay down. My son continually hands it to me to fix. Skip this version and buy one of the others.

Contrary to the assurances on the package, this transformer is NOT easy to change back into vehicle mode. The two huge arms are supposed to fold up into the inside, but they never fit! When you start to bring the bottom and top halves of the body together, there is not enough room! Getting back into the shape of a vehicle feels forced -- like you're going to break it. My six-year-old could not do it. Other transformers take time to learn. This one just doesn't work due to bad design.
