(More customer reviews)When Ratchet was released I had to have him, since he was the first original G1 Transformers I got. Ratchet looks good in vehicle mode. Just like any early Autobot cars made of hard plastic and rubber wheels. His transformation is similar to Optimus Prime. Half of the car turns into a robot and the other half turn into a battle station. Granted his robot mode looks nothing like the cartoon character with a head.
The Japanese version still has shooting plastic missiles. The only dishonor the storyline did was to kill him off in the movie and then later on send his tomb into the sun in a later episode. Ratchet is one of the original classic Autobot Transformers.
