I'll be honest. I didn't really care for the character of ravage in the movie, and thought he was a poorly updated design from the original. I passed on all the previous deluxe class versions because the sculpts and the colors didn't really appeal to me. But the space on the shelf next to my movie Soundwave seemed empty. When I saw the legends class Ravage I loved that the scale seemed like a good match. The colors were also a great gun metal an silver metallic highlights and he's nicely detailed for his size. Fairly posable for his size but a tiny snapping jaw would've been a cool addition.
His transformation is pretty lame. It's a comet/jet/metallic-swordfish they call a 'reentry mode'. The robot mode is a sort of skeletal panther you'd expect if you saw the movies. The did manage to fit a tiny Decepticon symbol on him. He may not be a collector's cup of transmission fluid unless they're a completist but he is a great little figure for kids, even littler ones. Durable, highly styled and fills that pet/minion role for all grand action figure battles. He retails for around 8 but I've seen him as low as 3 on sale. If you can find him closer to 3 grab him, if not might wanna wait on this one. Unless you absolutely love Ravage this is definitely not worth the 15-20 people will try to charge some places. "Ravage Eject."
And remember parents: If you don't like challenging your children, BUY AGE APPROPRIATE.
