(More customer reviews)As you can see from the photos, this is a very simple pinball game. There are 5 bumpers, and each awards 10 points. That's about it. It plays loud, slightly distorted music and sounds including some of the old "Transformers, more than meets the eye!" lyrics, which will thrill 5-year-olds and annoy the heck out of adults. When the noise gets to be too much, you can just hit the ball around without turning on the power (it won't keep score, though). The plastic seems strong enough to handle a fair amount of abuse, although it isn't super-heavy. The original price is a bit much, considering that a game this basic won't hold a kid's interest forever, but for under ten dollars this is a decent buy.
I also want to praise the manufacturer, Moose Mountain -- when I bought this toy, it was missing one of the legs. I called them up and they promptly mailed us a replacement. Kudos to them!
