Hasbro Star Wars Transformers - Jango Fett and Slave 1 Review

Hasbro Star Wars Transformers - Jango Fett and Slave 1
Average Reviews:

If I could I would give this product zero stars. Every cent we spent on this product was a waste. My son just received 5 different Star Wars Transformers for his birthday (Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Obi Wan, Jango Fett, and the Han Solo/Chewbacca sets). I am so tired of Hasbro selling cheap pieces of junk that do NOT hold together for 5 minutes. My son is beyond frustrated and I am tired of continually trying to put the things back together. We had this same problem last Christmas with Hasbro Star Wars figures. My child is not hard on his toys, but within 24 hours a couple of figures had already lost arms! The thing that drives me nuts is that we still have the Kenner figures that belonged to my husband in the 70's and early 80's and they are still in perfect shape. Why can't Hasbro figure out how to copy those designs and create a quality product?!? The bottom line is that they won't as long as consumers continue to buy this junk and not complain. I have contacted Hasbro customer service and I continually get the run-around. They simply seem to not care about the quality of these products.

This classic Star Wars villain is now an awesome mode-changing figure that you'll find to be full of surprises! Star Wars Slave I vehicle converts to ultimate bounty hunter figure, and features a missile-launching jet backpack! Figure comes with Jango Fett pilot figure, backpack and 2 blaster pistols.

Transformers G1 Commemorative Series IV Skywarp Reissue Figure Review

I was thrilled when I found out Hasbro was re-releasing the original G1 Transformers. The Skywarp I bought at ToysRus is almost exactly as I remember from when I was a kid. My only complaint is they changed the missles by making them quite a bit larger. They seem a bit awkward and out of place to this diehard G1 fan, but overal a perfect re-issue

This Generation 1 reissue was built with both metal and plastic parts just like the original! Sticker sheet is included along with a pair of rocket launchers, 4 spare missiles, 3 pairs of various wings and 2 fists.Although this is a toy and Hasbro suggests an age of 5 and up, it is designed more for the serious G1 collector and comes mounted inside a stylish book-like box covered with detailed artwork. It also has a velcro cover which opens to display the figure in vehicle form, along with all parts, behind a clear pane of plastic to protect everything from dust. This item was produced in 2002 but is still in mint condition and factory sealed.

Bought this toy for 10-year-old who collects them. Excellent toy, especially for age 9-12 year-olds.

Captain of the Maximal research vessel Axalon, Optimus Primal was forced into the role of a warrior in the Beast Wars. He rose up to become one of the greatest heroes in the history of Cybertron. His fate is tied in a fundamental way to that of the mad arch-villain Megatron. Optimus Primal knows this, and understands that it is he -- and he alone -- who must pursue Megatron across time and space in order to put a stop once and for all to his evil plans.
This detailed robot figure changes into an impressive beast machine and back again. He can ride the "jet-powered" hover board, or use it as a weapon with its firing projectile and snap-open assault blade. Figure comes with hover board, projectile, Maximal ship Axalon and comic book. Measures 6" tall.

Hasbro Transformers Deluxe Classic Cliffjumper Review

Hasbro Transformers Deluxe Classic Cliffjumper
Average Reviews:

This is the same mold as Bumblebee, just repainted into G1 loudmouth and tough guy, Cliffjumper. It's too bad Hasbro didn't alter the head a bit to match Cliffjumper's cartoon head, but it's not a big deal. No matter what color they paint this mold, it's still a great design and true to the spirit of G1.
If you already own Classics Bumblebee, and are not a completist or head over heels in love with the mold, then you might want to pass on this one. Otherwise, highly recommended.
Regarding safety, for the little ones, you might want to take the included Jet-Ski away so it doesn't end up in their mouth :-)

Don't be fooled by his small size: CLIFFJUMPER is as tough as they come. Always spoiling for a fight, just hearing the word DECEPTICON is enough to get him riled up. He carries a unique gas-pistol that fires a cloud of nano-robots capable of making DECEPTICON armor as brittle as glass, but he'd almost always rather just toss his weapons aside and start swinging. More than one DECEPTICON warrior has ended up with a busted grill from underestimating CLIFFJUMPER. He may not be very strong, but no one is more determined.Awesome robot-to-cruiser vehicle figure features a Wave Crusher watercraft and trailer that convert to a jet pack in robot mode!

Bought it for my nephew, so I can't comment on the durability/fun factor. Price seems reasonable. However the packaging was a bit dinged up when it arrived. The toy I'm told is fine.

Thundercracker - Transformers Cybertron Deluxe Review

Thundercracker - Transformers Cybertron Deluxe
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Thundercracker toy has been getting a bad reputation, but there's really nothing wrong with him. His jet mode is a cool look, and unlike other people I think the robot mode is pretty nice looking as well. I needed a bad guy for my "good" transformers to fight, so I bought this Decepticon. I play with this bad boy every day and he has not broken ONCE. That is probably because I do not throw my toys at walls.
His only weak points are the flimsy rubber wings and missles. also, his HUGE cannon arm does not stay in place to well. His Earth Cyberkey power is basicly useless in robot form, since you can fire the missle even when the key hasn't opened it. In jet mode, it makes Thundercracker even more awesome since when the key is put in, the cannon pops out of the top of the jet and can even shoot VERTICALLY, a function which I think is so he can fly under other jets and blast them from underneath.
In summary, Thundercracker is awesome. His Pros in Robot are:
awesome poses and huge sword/cannon/shield. His Cons in Robot are: cannon arm is hard to stay in place. Pros in Jet: Awesome looking jet form, orange cockpit, cannon that pops out...etc, etc, etc. His Only con in Jet: flimsy plastic for missles and vertical wings. Despite contrary belief, Thundercracker is an awesome toy.

Transformers Armada Megatron & Leader 1 Review

Transformers Armada Megatron and Leader 1
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This toy is pretty durable overall and has multiple electronic sounds that are activated by moving almost any way imaginable. The cannon makes a boom sound, the cannon mount turning makes sounds, the little flip up missile pod launcher makes sounds.
Overall I think this toy is OK at best... vehicle mode is pretty awesome. The robot mode is bland at best, just looks awkward as hell... looks like Galactus mated with a tank. The knees only bend to the outside so unless you want Megatron doing the crab-walk he's going to be at full attention at all times.
Plenty of Minicon ports, like 12 I think. Cannon may shoot a projectile (Mine didn't come with one) and missile pod comes with 2 launching missiles. Pretty easy to transform so good for children.

G1 Masterpiece Starscream Review

G1 Masterpiece Starscream
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Masterpiece Starscream is back and looking great in his original 1980's color scheme. Starcream is priced at $48.00 dollars, which isn't cheap but is much less expensive than paying hundreds of dollars more for the Japanese version. I would not consider purchasing this if you are looking for a toy because Starscream is fragile. This Starscream was meant more as a display piece for adult fans rather than a durable toy. While Starscream is fragile he is a amazing looking figure. Starscream has great paint detail and very nice articulated hands and joints. This Starscream also has the ability to switch his facial expression by doing a quick and simple transformation. Starscream's null-ray cannons do not fire, but they make Starscream look very menacing. Starsrcream's robot mode is very nice but my personal favorite is his jet mode. Starscream looks sharp as the mighty American F-15 Eagle fighter jet. The realism and detail put into Starscream's jet mode is very beautiful. Starscream looks more like a highly detailed fighter jet model than a transformer. Starscream comes with some really nice built in landing gear if you want to display him parked. Hasbro also includes a really nice stand to use to display Starscream in jet mode. You can also use the stand to display Starscream in robot mode as well. Starscream's stand holds his extra missiles and is emblazoned with the purple Decepticon logo. If you are a fan of the original 1980's Decepticons you will like this figure. Please just don't pay more than retail to buy him.

Transformers: Optimus Prime Head Bust Review

Transformers: Optimus Prime Head Bust
Average Reviews:

First, this is obviously a collectors piece. I didn't rate it very "fun" because it doesn't do anything. But as a decoration or something to add to your collection, this bust is great. I bought it to go along with a Megatron head bust a friend gave me from a Comicon. The Prime head bust is very cool and extremely detailed. It's a great piece to add to any transformer collection. Again, I wouldn't recommend it to play with or for it's educational value.

I got this toy for my 5-year-old boy since he loves cars. Toy opens into a action-packed playset. My son really like the transforming feature. The playset has a real working crane, gas station, a loading ramp, a service bay and work area. It comes with one hot wheel car. My son has a big collection of hot wheels. Some of his hot wheels didn't fit. This playset is a great value and lots of fun.

This is a good looking figure with it's downfalls. First of all the back wheel is difficult to seperate when going from vehicle to robotmode unless you have fingernails. Secondly the arms and legs pop off easily including the side panels which is unpleasant and can get annoying sometimes. Having this figure reitirates the lesson
"Dont judge a book by its cover"

My son is robot obsessed and has five of these robots in different colors. He loves playing with them and carries them everywhere we go. But they break easy. Most of them no longer will walk. You can tell whatever gears are inside are trying to turn, but they just don't get the job done anymore. On two of them they quit walking within a week of purchase. Oh, and you can buy them at Wal Mart for $4.88.

Transformers Toothbrush Tunes - Music In Your Mouth Review

Transformers Toothbrush Tunes - Music In Your Mouth
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The thing is cool don't get me wrong but it doesn't exactly work on a purely brush to teeth dynamic. The toothbrush actually "plays" the music. The advertising for this thing makes it sound like you can only hear the music if you brush your teeth but it plays it loudly. You could hear it outside the bathroom. But it does sound louder to you when you brush your teeth. Now this doesn't mean it isn't still cool. But it isn't as awesome as it might be. Plus it is really pricey for a toothbrush.

Supreme Cheetor Review

Supreme Cheetor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Supreme Cheetor is one of the biggest Transformers I have ever seen. He is a nice figure and closely resembles the cartoon version. The only down side to him is he was designed more for play (I guess that would be GOOD side for little kids who actually play with toys) and not really designed for display. I tried standing him up on my shelf but to no avail. His legs are too skinny and weak to support his upper torso (which houses the battery). I wouldn't really call him a true "Transformer" because he doesn't really transform. He basically just stands up. Transformation is too simple. In my opinion, they should have made Jetstorm into a supreme figure. Jetstorm is a nice figure and he would have been great as Cheetor's size! But this is not a negative review. Cheetor is still a great detailed figured. If you have young ones at home who love Beast Machines, this is definetly one toy you should not pass up on. All in all, this is still a great Transformer for younger kids. The more toys the better huh?

The most incredible Transformer ever! The new Cheetor Supreme is the biggest and coolest Tranformer ever designed! Tons of electronic features! Glowing eyes change color as Cheetor becomes enraged -- even his face changes! Two hidden attach features, including launching missiles, highlight battle sounds and a cool expanding sword!

Transformers Movie Legends Mini Blackout Figure Review

Transformers Movie Legends Mini Blackout Figure
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
When I saw that the only review for this was done by an uninformed customer thinking he was getting the voyager, I decided to get one if only to provide a more accurate review. Blackout is definitely one of the better Transformers of his size. His chopper mode is very accurate, with two twirling blades. He has an interesting and clever, if a little fiddly, transformation scheme that puts all alt-mode parts in their proper places for an almost equally accurate robot mode. My only gripe would be how short his arms are, and that the blade on his back is never quite in the right position due to the hinderance of his tail fin. His head sculpt is great, it looks exactly like Blackout's head did in the movie. If you're a fan of Blackout like me, go for it. Casual collectors, only go for it if you can deal with a few faults.
