He looks awesome as a stealth bomber and has a unique robot form (his head is especially inspired if you ask me), the design team was definitely in a zone when he was devised. Visually at least they were in a zone, unfortunately for Sideways there are so many swivel and ball joints to make him so visually pleasing that the overall durability of the figure is compromised.
For those inflicted with children: Sideways is a great figure, but will not survive the mindless abuse most ankle-biters will inflict on him. Kids will want him, but they will destroy him and they will do it quickly.
For collectors: Snatch him up, he's great, but if you plan on taking him out of the box buy an extra [read: if you usually buy one to 'play with' and one to leave in the box pick up a third one to display, because the 'played with one' won't stand up in the display case after the 4th or 5th transformation]. That's a sad diagnosis for a collector to make on such a beautiful mold, but there it is.
