(More customer reviews)Powermaster Optimus Prime will always hold a place in my heart, but I must confess that Generation 2's Laser Optimus Prime outshines him in almost every way, and has yet to be surpassed, even with modern advances in toy tech. This Prime stands tall on his own, with no need for gimicky add-ons or supermodes. He is armed to the teeth
(or to the mouthplate, as the case may be) with a light-up sword and more missles than you can shake a matrix at. His vehicle mode is realistic yet adventurous, his battle station would send just about any Decepticon running for the hills. He is a must have for any serious Transformers collector.
But don't expect him to come cheap. This toy is almost impossible to find loose and complete, and we all know that MISB figures can cost a pretty penny. I found mine used without any weapons or accesories, and had to purchase a Transformers RID Robots in Disguise Deluxe SCOURGE Tanker Truck (2001 Hasbro) and rob him for parts. But if you can afford to drop the required moola on this guy, do so at once. And thank me later.
